Abstract

Fish cultivation is an excellent commodity supporting the Indonesian economy and has high prospects. One of the main problems in fish ponds is pond water quality. Several factors influence pond water, namely temperature, pH, and clarity. Good pond water quality treatment can maintain quality standards and can increase fish production results. This research aims to design a tool for monitoring temperature, pH, and water clarity in tilapia ponds to make it easier for fish farmers. This tool has an electricity source from photovoltaic (PV) energy of 000 Wp. It is hoped that PV will be an innovation for tilapia farmers even though they are far from PLN electricity sources. The test results of the tool show that the DS18B20 temperature sensor, compared to a digital thermometer, has an average error of 0.079%. The results of testing the pH sensor compared to the pH meter obtained an average error of 0.31%.
